TUM Prayer Day is Today: Why you Must Attend
Date: Wednesday, 30th September 2026
Time: 9:00 A.M.
Venue: Assembly Hall
The Technical University of Mombasa (TUM) community is called to gather for a significant spiritual event. The Office of the Deputy Vice Chancellor (AFP) has officially announced an Interdenominational Prayer Day scheduled for Wednesday, 30th September 2026.
Here is why you need to be part of this gathering:
1. Unity in Diversity
This event is designed to bring together staff and students from various Christian denominations. It is a unique opportunity for the TUM community to set aside differences and unite under a common purpose of faith.
2. A Moment for Reflection and Thanksgiving
Life in the university can be fast-paced and stressful. This prayer day offers a dedicated time for reflection and thanksgiving, allowing attendees to pause and appreciate the journey so far.
3. Seeking Divine Guidance
As the institution moves forward, the gathering aims to seek God’s guidance and blessings for the university and its entire community. Attending allows you to contribute spiritually to the success and well-being of the institution.
4. Official Call to Action
The memo, signed by Ag. Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Peter B. Gichangi, Ph.D., specifically requests all staff unions (UASU, KUSU, and KUDHEIHA) to encourage their members to participate. This makes it a key event on the university calendar.
Don't miss out on this moment of spiritual renewal.
